Why do we love this case?

New Wave and Mighty! Here is a pack of six South Aussie wines that range from smashable to esoteric. From a collection of tiny producers that produce wines as a side-hustle, for the love of the grape and the joy that it brings. It’s a great little roadmap of South Australia from the Hills into McLaren and down to Fleurieu. All the colours of the rainbow, all of the the fruits of the fruit salad. You will not be bored!

Each case contains ONE bottle of:

Skew McLaren Vale Grenache 2017

Skew is Simon Ewart, a tiny producer playing around with grenache and tempranillo from McLaren Vale and Fleurieu. This wine is a great example of medium-bodied McLaren magic - lots of fruit with the a bit of American oak that sits beautifully in the wine. Soft, supple and sensual. Jubey in the right way, fruity but not sweet. Hot tip: Skew also make a delicious vermouth.

KI is a mediterranean region with sea breezes perfect for grape-growing with only 30 vineyards.

Carignan, aglianico, dolcetto and colorino. Together at last! Wait, what the hell is colorino? Wikipedia tells us it's a "a red Italian wine grape variety planted primarily in Tuscany". I like Tuscany and this blend sounds good. Lucky for you, it also tastes good and it's in this pack. Light and full of red currants - this is one to chill for sure.
