For lovers of the classic sem sav blend, Capel Vale has got ya covered. It’s pure Margaret River, Australia’s home of great SSB, and brimming with freshness and vibrancy. There’s the usual lime, nectarine and grassiness, but this one’s got a little more going on with hints of tea leaves and even some jalapeño spiciness. Cleansing, punchy and complex - everything you could ask for from a sem sav.

Creamy and elegant, that’s the calling card with this Tallarook chardy. Wild yeast and lees stirring go into it, creating depth, complexity and indefinable oomph. We’re hopping into a time travelling machine so to speak, back to the days of those rich, toasty, buttery chardonnays. So don’t expect the lean and laser-sharp, but rather a mouth-filling, cashew-invoking, 80’s ‘dress up party’ inspiring glass of wine. If that’s your bag, then you’re in the right place.

Chilean sauv blanc are a bit like those from WA. The fruit is tropical and the acid is bright, but there’s a modicum of structure that reminds the drinker that this isn’t NZ lolly water. That acid and structure also make the wine perfect for pairing with seafood of all sorts. So grill some prawns, bake some salmon, poach some yabbies, it all works well.

What can't Gapsted do? They are an absolute Alpine winemaking powerhouse and this grigio is just an entry into their world of reds and whites. The wine is refreshing and herbaceous, with delicate florals and crisp apple. It's bright and nervy on the palate. Deeee-lish!

We’d like to welcome another vintage of one of our Clare Valley favourites. When it comes to the legendary producer Claymore - we come for the reds, and stay for the riesling. They have a few rizzas in their collection, all excellent examples of what Clare Valley does best. It’s floral and sherberty on the nose with a few funky notes too. It follows with a dry and textural palate that is pithy and citric - vibrant and classic. It has a super-dry finish, our tasting notes went along the lines of “it’s pretty bloody delicious”.
