Why do we love this case?
We’ve decided to stick with the classic ‘Dangerous Value Whites’ as it describes it oh so well - the real danger with this delicious mixed dozen is that you’ll be sorry you didn’t buy more. There’s a cheeky bottle every occasion. Don’t let me keep you a second longer, mofo!
2x Byron & Harold Rags to Riches Sauvignon Blanc 2025
White — Sauvignon Blanc
Margaret River — Barossa
Straight up, it’s all about clarity and freshness. Citrus leads the charge - lemon, lime and grapefruit - with white stone fruit sitting quietly in the wings. There’s a gentle tropical note, but it’s dialled right back. No fruit salad here. Instead, you get minerality, zip and refreshment! This one's crisp, clean and feels completely effortless. Bright acidity gives it real snap, the finish is clean and mouthwatering, and suddenly you’re reaching for another glass without thinking twice. This is the kind of wine that earns its keep. Perfect on a hot day, even better with food - seafood, salads, spicy bits, roast chook, you name it. Chuck it in the esky, pull it out whenever the sun’s up, and don’t overthink it.
You’d pay $32 full price.

Tasting Notes
2x Sorby Adams Handcrafted Chardonnay 2023
White — Chardonnay
South Australia — Barossa
Sorby Adams is one whose reds we have adored, and as we dabble into some whites we're continually astounded by how good these wines are. Having been head winemaker at Yalumba for 20 years, he certainly knows how to make top quality vino. This chardy is genuinely unbelievable value for money: texturally it flows on the palate like a plush peach. Time on lees has meant that it has a yoghurty, creamy consistency and the finish is ever so delightful. I'm really damn excited about this wine, and I reckon you will be too mofo.

2x Windowrie Estate Pig in the House Picpoul Blanc 2025
White — Other White
Central Ranges — Barossa
Aromatic, delicate and wholly pleasing. A fantastic accompaniment for oysters, prawns or any other seafood you can think of! If you love gris/grigio, sauv blanc or albarino, this is right in your wheelhouse. Bright but delicate aromatics of pear, apple and zesty lime set up a subtly structured palate with refreshing acidity and a soft, lingering finish. Looking to try something new without completely leaving your comfort zone? This is the one. Although unique in its elegance and subtlety, there's plenty of familiar flavours for the Australian palate on offer, zesty, refreshing, citrusy and slightly tropical. A complete and interesting table-white and, as the producer says, "this wine is a great accompaniment to oysters, seafood in general, and sunny afternoons".
You’d pay $28 full price.

Tasting Notes

It really doesn't get any fresher or juicier than this. The Peter Lehmann name brings South Australian winemaking heritage and seriously unbeatable value in equal measure. With access to top vineyards and quality fruit, this gorgeous Pinot Gris delivers layers of peach, nectarine, green apple, nashi pear, and citrus that just keep going and going and going.

Tasting Notes
2x Russell & Suitor Alejandro Fiano 2025
White — Fiano
Murray Darling — Barossa
The 2025 vintage threw up some curveballs - lower yields thanks to a cool spring, but the payoff was a near-perfect ripening window. Long, mild days and cool nights gave the fruit time to develop serious flavour without losing that all-important acid. So what about the wine? Well, here we have a very well-made white wine with power and precision. Aromas of crisp green apple, juicy melon and roasted cashew leap from the glass. On the palate, it’s full-bodied and dry, with clean lines and a freshness that lingers. There’s a generosity to the fruit here, but it’s reined in with lovely texture and balance. Vintage conditions might have cut the volume, but they definitely dialled up the quality.
You’d pay $25 full price.

Tasting Notes
2x Reschke R-Series Riesling 2025
White — Riesling
Limestone Coast — Barossa
Riesling that is bright, young and fresh as a daisy - coming at you for at an epic price in a dozen. Yes please! We can’t tell you who the producer is - but we can tell you they craft excellent and very reliable wines. This rizza is full of blossoms and citrus, a nervy line of acid and beautiful texture. Whether you drink now or hold for a couple of years, it is sure to please.
