Why do we love this case?

Put this through an airport X-ray scanner and you’ll get security pulling you aside like you’ve just tried to sneak a chainsaw into your carry-on. Perilously good wines for a dangerously low price.

Every case contains TWO of each of the following:

Shiraz 2015

Wrattonbully, SA

Boutique Producer

I can almost guarantee you’ve never heard of this producer and likewise, almost guarantee that you will like this wine! Firstly, it’s the classic Aussie shiraz cabernet blend, grown in the terra rossa over limestone soils of Wrattonbully, that are famous for producing wonderful red wines. Secondly, at five years old, after extended time in French and American oak, this wine is at the start of a great drinking window. It’s brimming with spiced berries, cedar and soft oak tannins. It’s medium-bodied and all the better for it - suiting all sorts of meat dishes, though I’d go for roast veggies or a Moussaka, if you are feeling fancy.

Shiraz 2019

Limestone Coast, SA

95pts Sam Kim | 5 Star Sam Kim | Vegan Friendly

When looking at a deal at this price, the question could be raised “yes that’s a great deal but what about the quality?” Well, we love it but don’t take our word for it. With a whopping 95 point score, be assured you’ll be just as happy with the quality as you are with the price. Wonderfully ripe and inviting, the perfumed bouquet shows dark fruit intensity combined with violet, vanillin oak, cocoa and subtle spice notes, leading to a concentrated palate that’s opulent and persistent. The wine is powerful and richly textured with excellent fruit purity, seamlessly framed by silky tannins. Drink now, it’s good to go!

Grenache Syrah 2019

Languedoc-Roussillon, France

Vegan Friendly

This wine is a 60/40 blend of grenache and syrah from Minervois, one of the top areas in the region. It’s medium-bodied with soft tannins, a smooth palate and an energetic burst of bright red fruits. Simply enjoyable, gluggable and relax-on-the-deck-able wine.

Malbec 2019

Mendoza, Argentina

This malbec carries all the driving fruit intensity expected out of Mendoza with hints of cherry and spice, a smooth texture and ripe tannins. And since it’s a red wine from Argentina, you already know the perfect food pairing - a nice thick cut of steak grilled to perfection.

GSM 2020

South Australia

5 Star Halliday Rated Producer

GSM - the Holy Trinity of South Aussie reds. It’s the simple, but pleasing harmony of the blend that is nearly better than the sum of its parts. This is a ripe and succulent red that shows off the best of all three varieties. Grenache brings red berries, plums and a bit of warmth. Shiraz adds spice and acid. And then mataro contributes a wonderfully floral nose and its famous inky colour. This is a solid and tasty version of the blend, sure to please fans of the style.

Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

Clare Valley, SA

5 Star Halliday Rated Producer | Single Vineyard

Gone are the days when cabernet quaffers were only interested in Margs or Coonawarra. Yes they have their place, but venture outside these boundaries and you’ll discover a world of wonderful versatility when it comes to this famous variety. Clare and cabernet go together like peas and carrots; thanks to typically warm S.A. days yet surprisingly cool evenings due to some serious elevation (480m for this specific vineyard, to be precise). The result is powerful and dark fruit notes alongside graceful elegance with natural retention of acidity to provide all the length you could hope for. With a good few years under its belt, this drop is ready for the cap to be popped and enjoyed with your nearest and dearest.

YOU’D PAY $20 full price.

What is a Black Market deal?

Black Market deals are only made possible if we don’t reveal the maker’s brand on site. The wines are the genuine article, absolutely no cleanskins or fake brands, just dangerously good value. You won’t find out what it is until it hits your doorstep, but you won’t regret it. Just keep it on the down low.
