1x Pirramimma Heritage Chardonnay 2022
White — Chardonnay
South Australia — Barossa
We don’t need to tell you about Pirramimma, do we? By now if you’re a regular of Vinomofo, we’re betting that you’ve tried a drop or two from this legendary winery. To say their red wines have been fan favourites would be to severely understate the cult following of this brand. Yes mofo, their white wines are truly as iconic as their reds. This is as abundant as you might expect (or crave), abound with notes of toast, crème brûlée, hazelnut and ripe peaches. If chardonnay is a red wine lover’s white, then this has got to be the one.
Part of our Women in Wine Collection
We are committed to ALWAYS having wines available that are made by women. In an industry that’s still dominated by men, we believe in celebrating the incredible work women are doing. Here’s to our Women in Wine!
We introduce to you Kate Wall, winemaker at Pirramimma. Kate has 30 years experience under her belt in the South Australian wine industry, 23 of which were at Petaluma.
You’d pay $50 full price.

1x Goaty Hill Chardonnay 2019
White — Chardonnay
Tasmania — Barossa
The beloved Tassie winery Goaty Hill closed its doors a few years ago, and were holding on to this chardy for dear life. We don't blame them, it's bloody ripper stuff. You know the saying 'if you love it, let it go'? Well, here it is: gorgeously shaped, with that Tassie acidity presenting in a lemon curd kind of way. Cashew roundness floats about the palate, a touch of cream cheese and pineapple delicately balancing this beautifully fresh wine. It's going to be sad to see this one go (which, we know will happen pretty quick), but we know that our Mofos are going to give every bottle of this chardy the love it deserves.
You’d pay $45 full price.

1x Sew & Sew Contour Chardonnay 2019
White — Chardonnay
Adelaide Hills — Barossa
Boy do we love Adelaide Hills chardonnay. Perhaps Australia’s answer to Burgundy whites, but with a little more pizazz and funk that is so classically Aussie. The vineyard that lends it fruit to this chardy is nestled on the borderline of McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills in the Kuitpo sub-region. Graced with the best of both climates: high altitude for freshness, and the direct ocean influence that makes for such elegant, refined styles. This tiny producer is truly the one that could, as shown by this pristine drop that still refuses to lose focus nearly four years later. Showing freshness and vitality, graced with French oak for a touch of class- think flinty, creamy & spicy- there’s nothing you can’t desire about this wine.
You’d pay $41 full price.

1x Riversdale Estate Pisces Chardonnay 2021
White — Chardonnay
Tasmania — Barossa
When our mates at Riversdale in the Coal River Valley showed us this wine in its early days, we knew it was the kind of wine that we could not get enough of. A couple of years down the track, and it's seen such an exciting evolution, truly drinking in its prime. There's a great mineral line running through the core, adding an extra layer of complexity on top of the lemon and peach fruit profile. The wine is a bit on the fuller side for such a cool climate region, but we absolutely love that. We’re not talking rich like Margaret River, but certainly bigger and bolder than your average Tassie bottle of white.
You’d pay $38 full price.

1x Higher Plane Chardonnay 2022
White — Chardonnay
Margaret River — Barossa
This is our third vintage of chardonnay from this boutique producer, one that we absolutely adore. They’ve got a rockstar of a winemaker and sit right in the heart of Margaret River. That’s a winning combination right there. Classic Margs chardy with peach, bright acidity and some nuttiness. A little rich, quite minerally and immensely satisfying. What’s not to love?
You’d pay $32 full price.

1x Byron & Harold Gravity White Chardonnay 2022
White — Chardonnay
Margaret River — Barossa
When the days are long and the sun ceases to shine, do yourself a favour and free-pour another glass of this glistening full-flavoured Margaret River chardonnay. Now is the time to lap up all this world-renowned region and grape variety have to offer, for the secret is out, but the price is still proportionately low for such consistent quality - and it doesn’t get better than this.
Lemony but rich in classic chardonnay decadence, this is the bottle to grab on your way to fish n chips set upon an ocean view, or perhaps there’s a grilled chicken caesar salad to pair with on your best buds’ balcony. We know life will feel complete when you choose to pop the lid off this delicious drop.
You’d pay $32 full price.
