Each case contains TWO bottles of:
Barossa Valley, SA
Five Red Star Halliday Rated Winery
Old vines add a certain something extra for several key varieties, grenache being one of them. This wine is sourced from 50-80 year old vines still on their original rootstock in the Barossa Valley. The result is low yields leading to greater concentration of flavours such as raspberry, strawberry and cola, buoyed by striking minerality that begets a freshness on the palate.

Pinot Gris 2020
Limestone Coast, SA
94pts Sam Kim | Five Stars Sam Kim
This is our first taste of the 2020 vintage and wow it’s impressive! Thankfully the limestone coast region missed many of the challenges faced by Australian wine regions this year and they’re racing to get wines into bottle to show them off. Beautifully perfumed, gorgeously lifted and wonderfully fruity. A cool, elegant acidity drives the experience with poise and grace. The finish is long and lingering. It’s miraculous winemaking for your money, and we’re totally in love.
YOU’D PAY $27 full price.
Sauvignon Blanc 2019
Marlborough does approachable wine like no other with consistent freshness and fruit purity that doesn’t cost the earth - in more ways than one. This wine is classic sauvignon blanc with mineral notes and lashings of tropical fruit, with passionfruit and mango on the nose. The palate has a touch of richness, but the feature is bright fruit and freshness - more tropical fruit mingling with citrus and a bit of green apple. Just lovely!
YOU’D PAY $25 full price.
Yarra Valley, VIC
Don’t you dare turn your nose up at the price tag, mofos. Or, if you do, know that many a happy wine lover will swoop in to gather the spoils. Firecracker Yarra fruit yields surprising complexity, with green apple, pithy grapefruit and a juicy slice of white peach making up the moreish fruit profile. Cool-climate-derived acidity provides freshness and a clean, crisp finish.
YOU’D PAY $24 full price.
McLaren Vale, SA
Old vine and hand-harvested shiraz from McLaren Vale for under ten bucks! It’s even been basket-pressed and given 12 months in a combo of French and American oak. It’s dense, intense and full of chocolate, berries and spice. What more do you want?
YOU’D PAY $22 full price.
Cabernet Merlot 2015
This is for the classic kind of mofo who likes to take things easy, and be pleased a lot. It’s smooth and medium-bodied, featuring flavours of raspberry, spiced cocoa and leafy coconut. It’s flavour-packed on the nose, and approachable as you like on the tongue. Doesn’t do anything tricksy, just nails the brief of approachable Coonawarra cab.
YOU’D PAY $22 full price.
What is a Black Market deal?
Black Market deals are only made possible if we don’t reveal the maker’s brand on site. The wines are the genuine article – absolutely no cleanskins or fake brands, just dangerously good value. You won’t find out what it is until it hits your doorstep, but you won’t regret it. Just keep it on the down low.
